One simple way for a family or a group to do this is to have everyone write down on separate slips of paper one or two of their favorite gifts, projects, and actions from this website and other resources. Parents or older siblings can record younger children's choices for them after you read and discuss a number of ideas with them. Put them all in a hat and draw one at a time. On the planning sheet, write them in the order drawn and in the appropriate section. Begin saving or raising money for the gift, project, or action that requires funds; meanwhile, start on one or two others that don't.  Click here to download a Planning Sheet!
